A UNIQUE AFTERNOON WITH THE GLOBAL WINECHEF
TONY LAWRENCE
Sommelier Chef Food & Wine Pairing Specialist Wine Judge TONY LAWRENCE will present an exploratory approach to pairing food with AROMA FIRST and FLAVOR SECOND. We will understand aromatics, as opposed to grape type, as the way to pair wines with food.

This Master Chef will serve small plates of food. His line-up will include Champagne; New World Sauvignon Blanc/Old World Sauvignon Blanc; New York Riesling vs. Mosel German Riesling; Two distinct styles of Chianti Classico Reserva from Tuscany; Napa Merlot vs. Right Bank Bordeaux; Old World Ruby Port and an Italian Brachetti.

This has Limited Attendance, based on receipt of checks (by April 30th)

About Tony Lawrence:
Tony Lawrence has been a member & Lecturer with the Society of Wine Educators of the American Wine Society; The German Wine Society, Tasters Guild Society, Vancouver Playhouse International Wine & Food Festival, among others. He was appointed to the Pennsylvania Wine & Spirit Advisory Council in 2010 on which he still presides.

Tony is a Certified Wine Judge; a Food & Wine Pairing Specialist from Greystone, Culinary Institute of America; a Certified Napa Valley Food & Wine Specialist; a Certified Napa Valley Wine Educator – 1 of 35 in the United States!

Tony has had over 45 years in the Hospitality Industry which includes being a Chef for NFL Films, The Philadelphia Eagles, and the Executive Chef at the Germantown Cricket Club and Merion Golf Club.
