The Corvina grape is one of Italy's most important red wine grapes and is the signature variety of the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. It is best known as the primary grape in Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone della Valpolicella, and Recioto della Valpolicella wines.
Corvina has thick skins, making it ideal for the appassimento method, where grapes are dried after harvest to concentrate sugars and flavors. This process creates powerful wines such as Amarone, one of Italy's most prestigious red wines.
Please join us for what promises to be an excellent tasting.
Please bring 2 wine glasses and wine to share.
This tasting is limited to 40 people
